The Second Event
Our next foray across the disciplines takes place next Monday, the 31st, at 6:15pm in the Strand Campus Anatomy Theatre. Speaking will be Shuzhi Zhou, who has things to tell us about Naked Mole Rats, and Mary Shannon, who will be talking about G. W. M. Reynolds and Victorian Journalism. There will hopefully be a modest reception afterwards!

The First Event
So What? kicks off on Monday evening (17th) at 6:00pm in the Strand Campus Anatomy Theatre. Our brave guinea pigs for the initiative are Katrina Soderquest, who will be talking about transcription factors in human DNA, and Michela Mentig, who will be discussing cybercrime legislation.
We're certain it will be an extremely interesting evening and we do hope you can join us!

Words of Welcome
This rather basic website will be the home of So What?, a series of talks which will challenge aspiring postgraduates to think creatively about their role within the academy, and within society at large - and which will offer their thinking, methodology and research to a general audience.
You can find out more on the about page, or start writing things in your diary straight away!
We do hope you'll join us for what promises to be a great series!
